The NGO runs a teachers training program in its Teachers
Training College (TTC) in collaboration with the Ministry of
Education, Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), Teachers
Service Commission (TSC), Kenya Institute of Curriculum
Development (KICD) among other Academic institutions. The
institute training and examination center is located in Karen.
Our education and training program delivers high-quality
in-service, distance learning and online training and education
programmes. Our key training programs empowers teachers by
giving then the Initial Teacher Education (ITE), Professional
Development (PD), and support during teacher registration with
TSC. Teachers who successfully complete the ITE program are
subsequently connected to schools requiring their skills or
universities for further education..
This program provides the educational resources needed to meet the academic and research demands of the community. The program is the center for learning materials and it serves as an important teaching agency by academic & School reading resources. Formal and informal instructions are given in the use of the reading resources to Community members through the orientation sessions.
The mentorship program targets primary and secondary school students. The program is aimed at improving pupils and student retention in school by reducing school dropout rates, boost increased primary to secondary school transition through improved academic performance. Both boys and girls who are at risk of dropping out school due to early marriage, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, chronic class repetition, family size, lack of motivation for schooling, parental negligence, influence from peers, lack of trained teacher counselors.
