Our governance

The functions of INCCODE are discharged through the following bodies:

1. The General Council
2. The Executive Board
3. The General Secretariat

The General Council

The General Council is composed of the Executive Board and all the admitted members. The General Council meets annually.
The Executive Board may convene an emergency meeting when necessary supported by two-thirds of its members. The General Council has the power to make INCCODE policies, to elect or appoint officers to the Council and members of the Executive Board adopt and amend the constitution.

THE EXECUTIVE BOARD COMMITTEE

The Board committee performs the functions of the organization and it is the governing body of INCCODE. The Executive Board is made up of:

1. The Chairperson
2. The Treasurer
3. The Secretary
4. The executive officer

The quorum of the executive board is three members. The executive board initiates special INCCODE programs. The executive board appoints the executive officer and special committees which may include members of the General Council.

THE GENERAL SECRETARIAT

This consists of:

• The executive officer
• Finance and Administration officer
• Education Development coordinator
• Health Development coordinator
• The support staff

The functions of the secretariat include:

• Day to day running of INCCODE activities
• General information sharing
• Disseminate information to partners and interested parties on community development & international relations.
